I don’t know what M2 type is or what AIIMS is, but here are too many unknown factors to answer you. 52 is not too old for a bone marrow transplant so I’m not sure why the doctor would say that. AML is often therapy induced and progresses rapidly and is fatal in 2-4 months. All of these questions should be explained to both of you by her oncologist. She should get a second opinion now.
