Can someone look at the third chapter of my book for me. Please!!!?

You're a very good writter, and the story is pretty interesting. The dialouge is a little weak, though. Just for me personally, "Hey Debbie, can you get me an asprin?" doesn't have a nice flow. Also, "The only thing more precious to her was a necklace that she never took off her neck. A golden locket with two pictures inside of it." is too much. You can condense that to "The only thing more precious to her was a golden locket with two pictures inside." or something like that. Remember that in writing, less is more. In terms of plot, I kind of feel (i know this sounds heartless) that the story of the poor little orphan is kind of cliched, but that's just me. I like that the girl lives in a hospital because that's an interesting point of veiw. You've got the basis of a good story on your hands, but remember, edit, cut cut cut and edit!

Why doesn't my 11 month old baby want to eat finger foods?

Grabbing food and putting it to his mouth is very new to him. Don't get discouraged with him not wanting to eat that stuff yet. When a child is that young a little food is always going to waste rather they are too full to eat or drop it before it hits their mouth and what not. don't worry about it. He will pick his food up and eat it when he is ready. just keep food feeding him in the mean time. Try giving him his own spoon as well so he can explore it at every meal time.

Ok, he collided into the catcher tuesday night, when he more than likely should have slid and would have been safe. It was a cheap shot. I understand that. Then comes tonights game, and they drilled him in the 4th inning. Then he stole 2nd, and 3rd. Then later, got a ball thrown behind him. I think he had 100% right in charging the mound. He was being intentionally thrown at, which is inapropriate. So my big question. "Why is Nyjer Morgan wrong in Stealing 2nd Base, and 3rd Base?"
