How far is to far, for joking?

Sometimes i tease my girlfriend a little, she kind of has a really high drive and she is usually easily embared when i mention it. I was just making some banter and light jokes. I stopped when she her cheeks got that little discoloration from that embarment. Obviously she was a little upset. How much is too much teasing. No slanderous comments please.
