Painting My Break Calipers?

Should I remove the caliper and spray paint it? Or should i use a brush to paint it while still on the car? Also, I want to paint the lug nuts. Is there a way to make them look shiny or chrome or w/e? Some type of paint? Thanks in advance dudes!
