Whats his problem?

It was an honest mistake, and just let your manager know this. I'm sure he or she will let the guy know, and hopefully he will understand. He was very immature to show that temper of his in a workplace...that kind of temper wouldn't cut it where I work...he'd be fired in an instant. Good luck!!!
