What should I say to my best friend...?

A few months ago my best friend and I got into a huge fight and quit talking for good. I really want to try to save the friendship and email her, (since she blocked me on aim, and everything imaginable) and apologize and ask for forgiveness and I'm not sure how. Any advice?
