Help with mozilla firefox...?

Every time i download it everything works perfectly. But after i have turned off my computer then switched it back on later.. i click on the mf shortcut then the page loads but comes up done with a blank page at the bottom left corner so i type something in google then it comes up the same with everything i type in... so what can i do to fix it?
