Getting around a smalll stripped screw?

Ok, so I'm extracting some screws from an iPod touch (Phillips #00) only to realise that one's that are in there are for some reason a security screws. It was too late but now i had already stripped the screw head so i can't use a screwdriver to take them out, but i don't have any screw removal extractor things. But i was wondering if i could drill/dremel a screw that small? i dont want the whole screw out just want to be able to remove the thing that its holding in? so just the top flat bit of the screw if you get me? thanks!
